Once the pandemic subsides and in-person instruction is commonplace again, we will move to have locations to accommodate the needs of children who require a physical location for optimal learning.
PROJECTS
The first step in our mission is to accumulate educationally restricted Chromebooks and distribute them to children whose families do not have access to computers and can most benefit from educational portals and online tutoring.
Our second step is to locate and prepare teachers and tutors to use online video conferencing tools to communicate with children in their homes. All tutors and teachers will have thorough background checks and applicable credentials.
As we grow our third goal is to expand our program to include artistic, creative and trade specific instruction.
Our hope over time is that, by bridging the equality gap and bringing the islands' educational standards up with the coordination of our local school system, we can lure trade schools and high tech industry to transform our islands for the better.
If one thing has become clear in 2020, the dependence on tourism in our islands is unsustainable and through a local effort, we can build the foundation for future generations to thrive on this island and be the gem of the pacific.
